Why D&G
Why choose D&G for import & export transportation
One contact for both directions
Imports and exports run through the same dispatch team, so nothing gets lost handing a container between two carriers.
Forwarder and broker friendly
Clean paperwork, consistent status reporting and a single point of contact for forwarders, NVOCCs and customs brokers.
Export loads staged early
Chassis are pre-positioned at the shipper and loaded boxes are staged against earliest receiving date instead of racing the cutoff.
Process
How it works
- 01
Shipment intake
Booking or container details, terminal or ramp, and the pickup or delivery ZIP are confirmed.
- 02
Direction-specific plan
Imports are planned around release and last free day; exports around earliest receiving date and cutoff.
- 03
Move executed
The container runs between terminal and facility on our own truck and chassis.
- 04
Cycle closed
Empty returned on imports, ingate confirmed on exports, paperwork sent back either way.
Pacific Northwest operations
Puget Sound to the Willamette Valley
Import deliveries and export pickups run across the Kent, Auburn, Tukwila, Tacoma and Seattle warehouse belt, out to Lacey and anywhere in Washington, and south into Portland and Oregon.
Our trucks. Our chassis. Our yard.
Overweight-capable equipment
Heavy import loads and overweight export boxes are handled with company equipment, with weight discussed up front rather than discovered at the scale.
